Mastering The Boho Summer Look: The Only Guide You’ll Ever Need

I know it’s starting to feel like Fall in other parts of the world. However, not here in LA with its 90-degree weather! I mean let’s be real, LA is known for its warm weather all year around. And for a girl like me who can’t handle cold weather, Socal sunny warm weather is just perfect!

Anyways, this summer I’ve been into the boho look, so here I am sharing an affordable trendy boho look.

Off Shoulder Puff Sleeve Top

Did you know that 80’s fashion is back big time? This means that pastel colors, dad shoes, loose denim jackets and most of all, my favorite puff sleeve tops are back in trend!

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of puff sleeves is Cinderella’s blue puff sleeve dress. But, that’s not what we’re talking about here. The kind of clothing I’m talking about in 2018 are the ones with shirts and dresses with dramatic oversized shoulders and sleeves, a bit more of a modern style.

I personally love tops that come with off-shoulder plus balloon sleeves. The combination of off shoulder and balloon sleeves are always flirtatious and flattering in my opinion.

Moreover, if you’re aiming for a boho look, then your go-to store would be Free People. I got this off shoulder puff sleeve top from Free People during their sale! I thought this item was perfect for me since it definitely gives the boho vibes and yet it’s still trendy. Thus, I definitely recommend free people for those who are looking for that cool boho-babe style.

High-waisted Wide Leg Jeans

In case you didn’t know, wide leg jeans are the winner of 2018. More and more fashion bloggers are wearing this item to spice up their wardrobe.

Although you might have skinny jeans in your closet because of its flattering figure and versatileness, you should invest in wide leg jeans in 2018. Why? Not only is this item the star of this year but also this trend will pass on till next year! So it’s never too late to get a pair of jeans!

As many of you might know from my Instagram OOTD photos, high-waisted wide leg jeans are definitely my favorite go-to bottoms. Not just any other regular wide leg jeans, but it has to be high-waisted.

Personally, I like any bottoms that are high-rise. This is because when you are wearing high-rise jeans instead of mid-rise or low-rise jeans, your legs look longer, accentuate the hips and makes the overall proportion well balanced.
